What Lalicat expects from a proxy
Lalicat profiles have a proxy area inside the profile settings where you select the proxy type and fill in host, port, username and password. There is a test action that resolves the proxy and reports the outgoing IP and location. Lalicat then uses that location to set the timezone, language hints and geolocation coordinates for the profile, unless you override them.
That chain works best when the proxy IP is a stable, geographically sensible address. A mobile IP from one of our metros resolves to a US carrier and a real city, so the timezone Lalicat picks lines up with what the website will infer on its side.

Filling in the proxy fields
Open your ProxyJolt dashboard. Every proxy lists a host, an HTTP port, a SOCKS5 port, a username and password, and a rotation link. Because activation is instant, you can buy a proxy and paste it into Lalicat in the same sitting.
In Lalicat, create a profile and go to the proxy section of the profile settings. Choose HTTP for a plain setup, or SOCKS5 if you want DNS to travel through the proxy and UDP traffic to be carried as well. Enter the host, the port that matches the protocol, then the username and password. Run the test. You should see a United States result with a carrier network name.
Leave timezone and geolocation on automatic so they follow the tested IP. Save and launch the profile. On our 5G lines you will see 50+ Mbps; on 4G, typically 20–45 Mbps. Either is far more than a single profile needs, so Lalicat feels as quick as a local browser.
Sticky sessions versus per-request rotation
Account management inside Lalicat calls for a sticky session. The profile holds one IP from login to logout, and the site sees one device on one network, which is what a real user looks like. When you close the profile, you can rotate and the next session starts on a fresh carrier IP.

Troubleshooting
If the proxy test fails with an authentication error, check that the port matches the protocol. The HTTP and SOCKS5 ports on our proxies are different numbers, and mixing them is the most common reason a test fails. Also make sure no stray whitespace was pasted into the username or password fields.
A timezone that does not match the IP usually means the profile was set manually and then the proxy changed. Switch the timezone back to automatic and re-run the test. If a site reports a different IP than the proxy, check the profile's WebRTC setting and consider SOCKS5 so DNS queries also leave through the proxy.
Sessions that suddenly log out are often the result of a rotation triggered while the profile was in use. Pause any scheduled rotation for proxies attached to active profiles. If the proxy seems slow, confirm no other heavy download is sharing that line; the mobile link itself is fast, but bandwidth is shared among whatever you run through it.

How many Lalicat profiles can share one proxy?
Technically as many as you like, but the sensible approach is one proxy per profile for unrelated accounts. Profiles that belong to the same client can share a proxy; group them in Lalicat under the proxy name so the relationship is obvious later.
