Undetectable.io + Mobile Proxies: Fast Setup for 4G/5G Profiles
Published · Updated
Undetectable.io gives every profile its own fingerprint and its own proxy slot. That is the whole trick, and it is a good one. What it cannot do is decide where your traffic exits. That part is the line's job. Plug a ProxyJolt mobile line into a profile and the profile leaves through a real US carrier SIM on AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon, the same networks phones use all day. We built ProxyJolt for people who hate waiting: the line shows up in your dashboard when payment clears, and the setup below takes minutes, not an afternoon. Short version first: copy four values, paste them into the profile, hit the proxy check, let the timezone follow the IP, launch. The details follow, plus the fixes for the few things that go wrong.
What to have open before you start
Two windows. Your ProxyJolt dashboard on one side, Undetectable.io on the other. Everything you need from us sits on the line's card: the host, an HTTP port, a separate SOCKS5 port, a username and a password. Prefer whitelisting to logins? Add your own IP in the dashboard and skip the credentials.
Undetectable.io runs on Windows and macOS. Its free plan covers up to five cloud profiles, plenty to prove the setup before you scale. Paid plans add more profiles and proxy import, which starts to matter once you load lines in bulk.
- Host, plus the port that matches the protocol you will pick
- Username and password, or your current IP whitelisted in the dashboard
- The line's rotation link, kept handy but not used yet
- A quick decision: HTTP for plain browsing, SOCKS5 when you want every lookup sent through the line too
The fast setup, step by step
Here is the whole run. No restart, no support ticket, no waiting on anyone.
On 5G a line usually gives 50+ Mbps, and on 4G it typically runs 20–45 Mbps. One browser profile uses a small slice of that, so the profile feels like a normal browser on a good connection from the first page.
- Create a new profile in Undetectable.io, or open one you already have.
- Go to the profile's proxy settings and pick HTTP or SOCKS5.
- Paste the host, then the port for that protocol. HTTP and SOCKS5 use different port numbers on the same host.
- Enter the username and password from the line's card.
- Run the proxy check. A US IP on AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon means you are connected.
- Set timezone, language and geolocation to follow the proxy IP, and set WebRTC to use the proxy's IP.
- Save, launch, load a page. Done.
Local profile or cloud profile
Undetectable.io keeps two kinds of profile. Local profiles live on your own device. Cloud profiles open from other devices too, which is handy when you start on a desktop and finish on a laptop. The proxy setting travels with the profile either way, so the line follows it wherever it opens.
Go local when one machine does all the work and you want the data at home. Go cloud when you hop between devices or teammates need the same profile; sharing with team members comes on the bigger plans. One rule covers both: a profile and its line stay paired. Never run the same cloud profile on two devices at once.
Sticky while you work, rotate when you are done
A profile is meant to look like one person on one phone. Cookies, fingerprint and IP should agree for the whole session. So keep the line sticky while the profile is open and leave the rotation link alone.
Session over? Close the profile, hit the rotation link or call our API, then reopen on the fresh address. ProxyJolt has no wait between rotations, so the next IP is ready about as fast as you can click. If your profile settings include a change-IP URL field, paste the rotation link there and rotate from inside the browser. Either way, reopen the profile after the change so it reads the new IP and location cleanly.
Per-request rotation exists too. Save it for profiles that only read public pages and never sign in, and keep those on lines of their own.
Scaling without slowing down
The clean pattern: one line per profile, or one line per tight group of profiles that belong to the same client. Put the line's city in the profile name so you can see at a glance which profiles share an IP.
On paid plans, proxy import kills the copy-paste grind. Pull host, ports and logins from our dashboard or API, import them in one go, then assign one per profile. If a client needs a different city later, move the line to another metro from the dashboard and rerun the proxy check in every profile that uses it, so the timezone catches up.
Speed scales with lines, not with tricks. Ten profiles on ten lines each get a full carrier connection. Ten profiles crammed onto one line share its bandwidth and its reputation.
Quick fixes when the check fails
Auth error? Usually the port does not match the protocol: SOCKS5 selected with the HTTP port pasted, or the reverse. Swap it and rerun.
Still red? Look for a stray space at the end of the username or password; some clipboards sneak one in. On IP whitelisting, confirm the address you whitelisted is the one your machine has right now.
Timezone wrong after a city move? The profile is holding an old manual value. Set it back to follow the proxy IP and check again. A site spotting a second IP usually means WebRTC is showing your real address; point it at the proxy's IP.
Logged out mid-session? Something rotated the line while the profile was open. Find the script or teammate that fired the rotation link and keep it to closed profiles only.
Grab the browser, then your line
Undetectable.io is our first pick for profile work on ProxyJolt lines. Start on the free plan, wire up one profile with the steps above, and scale once the check comes back green. Need Linux or a phone app? GoLogin is the alternative we point people to, and it takes the same four values.
Frequently asked
HTTP or SOCKS5 in Undetectable.io?
Both work with the same username and password; only the port changes. HTTP is the no-thinking option for browsing. SOCKS5 is the pick when you want lookups and all other traffic routed through the line as well.
Will a mobile line slow the profile down?
Not in practice. Our 5G lines usually deliver 50+ Mbps and 4G typically runs 20–45 Mbps. A browser profile needs far less, so pages load like they would on a decent home connection.
Can I start on Undetectable.io's free plan?
Yes. The free plan covers up to five cloud profiles, enough to attach a line, run the check and get comfortable. Move up when you need more profiles or bulk proxy import.
What should I do right after rotating the IP?
Reopen the profile. Rotate while it is closed, give the line a moment to pick up its new address, then launch so the profile reads the fresh IP and sets timezone and location from it.
